Job Description

Th Local Activation Manager will play a key role is delivering blu’s vision for compelling brand experiences. Working with the Consumer Experience Director, the Activation Manager will develop and execute blu’s annual live activation plans ensuring they continuously connect with consumers to build meaningful brand experiences. The role will need to work cross-functionally with relevant internal stakeholders, and external agencies, ensuring all live activation initiatives are connected and amplified across blu’s owned communication channels. The Activation Manager will be responsible for the continued review and refinement of the live activation plan, ensuring it is delivering against the agreed KPI’s and budget.

Key Accountabilities & Deliverables:

  • Lead the delivery of blu’s annual live event activation plan, working cross-functionally to deliver relevant and connected brand experiences.
  • Create and deliver live brand experiences that bring blu to life with target consumers through engagement, experience and education.
  • Work within the Marketing team to leverage influencers, content opportunities and media partnerships in the execution of the live activation plan.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure post event consumer engagement is maintained across paid media plans, digital, CRM, Social Media, at Retail and within Customer service.
  • Continuously review and appraise new Consumer Engagement models, adjusting and strengthening blu’s approach to delivering compelling brand experiences.
  • Manage blu’s live event agency partner(s) including contract negotiation, SOW development, budgeting and annual performance reviews.
  • Develop and deliver regular business reports providing clear recommendation for both short-term and long-term improvements to the live event action plan.
  • Develop, manage and track the annual live event activation budget and KPI’s.

 

Job Requirements

  •  MBA preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required.
  • +5 years of relevant experience in a consumer marketing or agency based event activation role.
  • Must possess a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a management or supervisory position.
  • Track record of performance driving engaging and memorable live brand experiences
  • Appreciation of consumer behaviors and experience delivering marketing programs in a multi-channel category
  • Ability to problem solve while also seeing and appreciating the finer details of execution.
  • Creative thinker with demonstrated ability to drive ideas while working cross-functionally.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills and comfort developing and delivering plan reviews
  • Desire to make his/her mark in a fast-paced high growth category with complex legal and regulatory principles
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
