Job Description

The Vape Channel Activation Manager is responsible for co creating and coordinating the operational delivery of the Activation strategy through the Trade, driving activities required to fulfil the initiative plan within the channel. The primary focus of the role is to execute trade marketing activities across focus areas, collaborating closely with many stakeholders to ensure the relevant materials, agencies, information, insights and reporting structures are in place for all executions. They will define, co-develop, share and manage activation best practices as well as take the lead on next generation ideas and creations of Activation materials to further improve the Activation strategy and execution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and Action through the Line activities and product launches

*Plan the detailed activities required to implement the brand initiative plan and activation tools.

*This includes setting and reviewing channel/ campaign objectives, target consumer, trade segments, and audiences to drive the campaign.

*Prepare briefing documents which enable the development of key messages and visuals to ensure relevance to the selected targets and markets.

*Ensure in the development and deployment of activation materials to all relevant stakeholders

  1. Develop best in class, fit for purpose tools and solutions (Digital and Traditional)

*Working to deliver market specific tools and solutions to bring a brand or subject matter to life

*Engage and brief agencies and stakeholders to ensure activities and key assets are in line with the overall objectives, brand activation guidelines and market regulations

  1. Test Brand Initiatives

*Prepare launch materials when required to support testing of Trade initiative in the selected market

 

  1. Other Responsibilities

*Project management

*Ensure that project KPIs are achieved through executional excellence.

  • Budget management
  • Reporting/ tracking performance of trade initiatives
  • Work with all members of the wider Activation team to support on activities where required

*Adheres to general standards to promote a cooperative working environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.

Job Requirements

*Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience within FMCG with Marketing or Sales experience

Degree qualified or working towards Bachelor of Commerce/Business

* Strategic problem solver, with a clear business acumen and a proven history of managing a P&L

* Creative thinker with the experience to create opportunity and influence cross-functional without direct reporting relationships

* Desire to make his/her mark in a fast-paced and dynamic high growth category with complex legal & regulatory principles
